Pilot cohort 2022/2023
For the pilot cohort starting in September 2022, the training contains structured mobility, using mobility windows and embedded modules to develop innovative and entrepreneurial skills. During the studies, students will take part in the mentoring program of the European Federation of Geologists (EFG). Graduates will acquire skills to become mineral exploration professionals for junior companies or work as independent geologist experts as entrepreneurs. Development of innovative skills of the students will be mentored by industrial partners and research institutes which are active players of development of innovative mineral exploration solutions in Europe (INESC-TEC, GeoZS, UGR, KGHM-Cuprum).
Strong field-based training between the two academic years, with EIT RawMaterials scholarship:
- Summer field camp to introduce the innovative mineral resource exploration methods in practice
- Summer internship organized and supported by the RIS Internship project
Structured mobility of one semester shall be completed at the partner university, with ERASMUS+ or CEEPUS scholarship:
- Luleå University of Technology (LTU, SE): MSc in Exploration and Environmental Geosciences,
- University of Miskolc (UM, HU): Earth Science Engineering MSc
- Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST, PL): Mining and Geology MSc, Mineral
Resources Exploration specialization. - University of Zagreb Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering (UNIZG-RGNF, HR): Applied Geology and Geological Engineering MSc, Exploration and Environmental Geology module.
